Seeing signs is funny…

…but it will drive you mad if you try to link everything together.

This morning I was getting ready for work and wanted to kill time before I left. I wanted to watch House or a lil’ 90210. I had exactly 45 mins to kill, which is about the length of an episode of each.

However after pouring myself a cup of coffee and turning on my laptop, 45 mins turned to 30. So I settled for an episode of BBT. There was a bit in episode where the guy in the jewellery store mentioned something about boyfriends buying “making up with their girlfriends” jewellery getting his daughter(s) through USC.

Anybody who knows me will know that my ultimate dream would have been a football scholarship at USC. For those who don’t know, its the same college that Reggie Bush went to. Anyway fast forward about an hour. I was on the train heading to work and saw a guy sporting a USC Trojans beanie hat. At that exact moment, the song that was playing on my iPhone was “Drake ft Lil Wayne and Andre 3000 - The Real Her”. More specifically 3 Stacks’ verse where he talks about Boise State. Another American college that is famous for its football program. A rival team for the (USC) Trojans in fact.

Weird huh? Well it was for me anyway.
